The Medusa Girls Project is a 3-storey Victorian terraced house situated on a residential road in a conservation area within the London Borough of Lewisham.

We accommodate a maximum of 4 young women. We are set up to give young women the feeling of being in a homely environment rather than that of an institutionalised atmosphere, which has worked well since the project started.

The bedrooms are all large rooms, many with their own wash hand basins, built-in wardrobes and study area. All are decorated in natural colours and young women can change the colour and decorate their rooms accordingly on moving into the project.

The communal area includes lounge, fully functional kitchen/diner and garden with patio area, and the project has three bathrooms two of which are wet rooms.

There is a newly built log cabin offering a therapeutic space, which is utilised well.

The area is well served by public transport with buses, DLR and an overhead train stations, connecting us to the city of London within 15 minutes. We are also located close to diverse shopping areas, which cater for many cultural needs and tastes.

The project is maintained to a high standard and all furnishings comply with the Fire Safety Standards.

The Medusa Project have impressed us with their professionalism, competence, transparency, flexibility, can-do approach and the high quality service they deliver for vulnerable young people.
