The Medusa Project aims to build a strong and effective support network around each girl and young woman. Therefore, we work in partnership with Social Services, CAMHS, DBT Services, Missing Persons units, Youth Offending teams, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and many other specialist community services.

We support girls and young women who present with:

  • Complex trauma (which, includes self-harming in many forms)
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Emerging personality disorders
  • Attachment difficulties
  • Recovering from Eating Disorder
  • Challenging and/or risky behaviour
  • Lacks ability to control anxiety or
    emotional expression
  • Self-esteem and self worth challenges
  • Identity issues
  • Suffered trauma and loss
  • Requires a Therapeutic Placement
  • Multiple placement breakdowns
