The Aim of The Medusa Project is to build a strong and effective support network around each young woman therefore, we work in partnership with Social Services, CAMHS and CAMHS DBT Services, AMHS, Missing Person unit in Met and other Police forces, Youth Offending teams, Forensic at Risk teams, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and many other specialist community services.

To support young women who present with:

  • Complex psychological and psychiatric conditions (which, includes self-harming in many forms)
  • Emerging personality disorders
  • Attachment difficulties
  • Fringes of forensic behaviour
  • Recovering from Eating Disorder
  • Challenging and/or risky behaviour
  • Lacks ability to control anxiety or
    emotional expression
  • Self-esteem and self worth challenges
  • Identity issues
  • Suffered trauma and loss
  • Requires a Therapeutic Placement
  • Multiple placement breakdowns

To support young women who present with:
